The Village of Ruidoso has recently experienced significant infrastructure damage resulting from recent wildfires and subsequent flooding events. In response to this urgent need, this project proposes the comprehensive design and replacement of six bridges located at:

  • McDaniel Drive
  • North Loop
  • Main Road 2
  • Sleepy Hollow Road
  • River Trail
  • Robin Road

Several of these bridges serve as the sole access routes to their respective communities, making their restoration critical to public safety, emergency response, and the long-term resilience of local transportation networks. This project will include site investigations, hydrologic and hydraulic analyses, environmental compliance, structural design, permitting, and construction-phase support services for all six bridge sites. The design will prioritize improved resilience to future wildfire and flood events, compliance with current engineering standards, and minimization of community disruption during construction. This critical infrastructure improvement project will enhance safety, restore essential connectivity, and support the long-term recovery and hazard mitigation goals of the Village of Ruidoso.
